Woodland walk & butterfly garden

We have established an abundant mixed wood of native flora and fauna. Due to its success we have extended the area to include more bat and insect boxes.  It has created a perfect haven to take a moment and enjoy our wildlife or just to sit and think.

Next to the woodland walk, the butterfly garden and wild flower meadow we created a pond and several bee hives that produce our very own honey! You can buy it from reception!

Recycling campaign

We’re big on recycling and have bins around the park for glass, cans, plastic, paper and cardboard that has achieved significant reductions in refuse collections.

Composting system

Nothing goes to waste and all compostable materials are collected to produce compost for use around the site by holiday home owners.

Dog walking

We welcome all our 4 legged friends and we’re in an amazing location for plenty of good walks. For the safety of your dog, you and the livestock on our farm we ask that you keep your dog on a lead at all times whilst on the site. We have dog waste bins and bags  located throughout the site, please clean up after your dog. Along with the countryside code we insist that dogs are on a lead whilst in the fields with livestock.

The picturesque village of Whalley is filled with many independent shops, has a rich selection of designer clothing stores lining the streets. You’ll also find everything you would need day to day, a Coop and Spar, Post Office, cafes and take aways, and a farmers market every 3rd Sunday of the month.  But for bigger shops, Clitheroe has a Tesco, Sainsbury, Aldi and a busy high street and the market is on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Public transport

There is a bus stop at the entrance to the park and junction of Old Langho Road/Elker Lane. Local taxi numbers with wheelchair access are displayed in Reception and the nearest local train station is Whalley.

Visitor facilities

We have a large car park area in front of our Reception. All visitors must report on arrival to Reception as no vehicular access beyond that point is allowed without a special barrier fob. The car park is well lit at night time and all signs are clearly visible.

The laundry has 2 coin operated, front loader washing machines and 2 tumble dryers and hand wash sink.

Post & deliveries

For those who are registered for Council Tax at the park, our secure post room is accessed,  using a fob which allows post and deliveries to be securely left and collected at a convenient time.

Access on foot & car

The park is set in beautiful, unspoilt, naturally undulating land with level wheelchair-friendly tarmac roadways. Vehicles can easily unload/pick up passengers near their homes. A parking area is provided beside or near to each holiday home. Additional car parking is available within a short distance to all homes. Barrier fobs are issued to enable easy access for pick up and drop off of visitors with mobility difficulties. There is a 10 mph speed limit throughout the park. Disabled parking is available at Reception and a ramp will be available if essential. If further assistance is required our staff will be happy to help.

Electric car charging

The charging point near Reception is for visitors use only but we’re busy planning more charging points for our customers in the very near future.
