History

Established 1949

Hackings Holiday Home Park was established in 1949 by the late George and Ellen Hacking who farmed the land with a variety of animals including hens, pigs, cows, horses and sheep. It continued to thrive and grow by the late John Hacking, his wife Wendy and son Linden. Now Wendy (senior), Linden and his wife, also called Wendy, and their son Darren continue to manage the family run park.

Look what we found!

We’ve dug out some old photos of the park from the 1970’s through to the early 1980’s. They remind us of some wonderful memories and to see how the park has changed over the years.
